Pre-wedding session | Susie & Chris
Let's rewind to a year ago today when we first met these two beauts! You know when you meet someone and you just click immediately thats what it was like when we met Susie & Chris - two of the loveliest, most welcoming people who might I add have incredible taste in music. For their pre-wedding photography session we took a leisurely stroll through the streets of Carlingford, chatting all things wedding and getting to know one another while gently guiding them through their photography session - but these guys were absolute pros and I think the images speak for themselves. Our main goal for every session is to ensure you have a blast and feel completely comfortable just being yourselves. That's all we strive for, plain and simple.
Theres a quote by the legendary Ted Grant, it goes like this: "When you photograph people in colour, you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in black and white, you photograph their souls!" - It might sound familiar and if you're an instagram user then chances are you've seen plenty of reels using the quote as an audio sample and we too couldn't resist jumping on the bandwagon by using it for a recent reel we posted.
But here's the thing - when it comes to Susie and Chris' pre-wedding photography collection, we wholeheartedly believe in what that quote represents. There are no colour distractions here, just beautiful, genuine moments, and that's what we're all about! The contrast, delicate shadows, and rich textures bring out the raw beauty of each captured moment. Their smiles become more radiant, their gazes more intense, and their love more evident.
It was such a joy getting to photograph and know these two - so much so that we have another blog post planned to showcase some of their gorgeous wedding photos.
